A law office exists to defend people's rights — so its own website shouldn't leave anyone outside. Attorney Gerri D. Marshall understood something many businesses miss: for a client with low vision, motor limitations or a screen reader, an inaccessible website is a locked door. And for a legal practice, it's also a real liability: ADA website lawsuits keep rising, and law firms are held to the standard they advise others to meet.
She chose to lead by example: a website built to be usable by everyone — not as a legal checkbox, but as a statement of what her practice stands for. Inclusion, in practice, on the very first page a client sees.
